The HISTORY OF BUCKS COUNTY, PA by WILLIAM W.H.DAVIS

         In 1876 William W. H. Davis undertook a "Labor of Love" in putting together the history of Bucks County before it was lost. This volume grew into three when it was published again in 1905 by the Lewis Printing Co. Again in 1975 it was reprinted by the A.E. Lear Inc. of Pipersville, PA. That same year, in 1975 the Genealogical Publishing Co. of Baltimore, MD printed one volume, volume three under the title of GENEALOGICAL AND PERSONAL HISTORY OF BUCKS COUNTY, PA. We now have another more recent reprint of the third volume under the same title, but cataloged as volume 1 and volume 2 by the Cleveland Publishing Co. This index can be used with all versions except the original 1876 by William W. H. Davis

There are at least 45,000 names on 303 pages. Volume 3 has many family histories.
